Second-placed Forum A are now only a point behind after seeing off Vikings A 10-0.
British Rail are only a further three points back after beating Forum D 9-1.
Ian Mead and James Lovelock starred with maximums.
Rutherford swept aside Forum B 10-0 to keep themselves in the hunt.
In Division 2, Ed Lush and Matt Isherwood recorded maximums as leaders Forum F beat Gladiators A 9-1.
Bicester E stay top of Division 3 after edging Vikings D 6-4 in a thriller.
