CLANFIELD won one of the most remarkable games ever seen at Radcot Road.

Their Oxfordshire Senior Cup home clash against Cropredy finished level at 0-0 after 90 minutes, with the visitors on top for the majority of the second round tie.

But there followed 30 minutes not seen before with the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West hosts scoring seven unanswered goals.

Clanfield had goalkeeper James Domm to thank for keeping them in the game in normal time after making three superb saves to deny the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division leaders.

Domm’s one error came on 31 minutes when he picked up a backpass, but his defence stood firm at the resulting indirect free-kick.

Clanfield took the lead just two minutes into extra time when Nathan Kimber fired home a 20-yard shot.

Two minutes later, Jozef Fullerton doubled the home side’s advantage when shooting inside the far post.

Skipper Adam Pendall made it 3-0 on 99 minutes, pouncing on a loose ball.

Fullerton soon bagged his second, converting a penalty awarded for handball.

Further goals from Karl Roberts and Pendall made it 6-0, before Fullerton put the icing on the cake in the final minute when tapping home at the far post to complete an amazing 30 minutes for the home side.

Senior League Premier Division strugglers Charlton United stunned Hellenic League Division 1 East high-fliers Thame Rangers 3-2 at home.

Dan Bone scored twice and Thomas Hartley also netted for the hosts, with Calvin Evans and Ricardo Benjamin replying.

Mathues Madeiros scored twice as Hellenic League Division 1 West strugglers North Leigh United beat Senior League Premier outfit Garsington 3-2 at home.

Henry Chesterman was also on the scoresheet for the hosts, with Will Jeffrey and Liam Dicks replying.

There were two all-Senior League Premier Division ties.

Bicester United advanced when comfortably beating Horspath 4-1 at home, while Freeland earned a 3-0 victory at Heyford Athletic.

Meanwhile, Kai Paton’s hat-trick earned Freeland Res a 6-0 victory at home to Lusitanos Oxford in Division 1 of the Oxfordshire Senior League.

Joey Burgess (2) and Tommy Burns, were also on target for the hosts, who climbed to third.

Summertown Stars saw off Adderbury Park Res 7-3 at home.

Denis Mao’Mahad (2), Max Rothwell, Jake Gonzalez, Tom Homer, Kian Farrell and Milo Mugatroyd were on target, with Josh Northampton (2) and Neil Skidmore replying.

Daniel Green (2) and Ben Walker fired leaders Chesterton to a 3-1 win at home to Kennington Athletic Res, for whom Matthew Crossan netted.

Daniel Rockett hit both goals in Hanborough’s 2-1 win at home to Eynsham Association, with Jordan Lyle replying.

Will Hawthorne (2) and Daniel Pounds fired second-placed Long Crendon Res to a 3-0 win at home to Long Crendon.

M.IN.I beat Florence Park 10-1.

In the Premier Division, Matthew Spooner and Dale Truby fired second-placed Yarnton to a 2-1 victory at Chalgrove Cavaliers.

Tom Clarke replied for the hosts.

Kennington Athletic and Mansfield Road drew 0-0.

In the Oxford City FA, Denel Thomas hit a five-timer as second-placed Chequers hammered South Park Rangers 9-3 at home.

Stevie Andrews (2), Bradley Fine and Rhys Freemire were also on target for the victors, while Shavaugh Scott (2) and Marco Duarte replied for the visitors.

James Cunning’s hat-trick helped Union Street to a 5-2 win over Thame United Churches.

Liam Bernie and Adam Smith also scored for the hosts, with Chris Mullen and Harley Brown on target for the away side.

Luke Butterfield’s late goal earned Summertown Stars Dev a 1-1 draw at home to Cutteslowe Park.

James Bruce had broken the deadlock for the hosts.

Leaders Oxford Leys beat Sporting Headington Academicals 5-2 at home.
