Oxford United boss Jim Smith is urging his side to forget about Saturday's disappointing home defeat when they travel into the unknown tonight.

The U's make the trip to the Cambridgeshire village of Impington to take on Histon - knowing little about the ground or their opponents.

And with Aldershot's win at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday putting added pressure on United to get a result tonight, Smith knows that his side must be on the top of their game.

He admitted: "I don't know what Histon's ground is like. I know it's a small stadium, and I know that they (the players) are giants.

"It's going to be a very hard game. Like all of John Beck's teams, they're going to be direct.

"But you can't look backwards, you've got to look forwards," he stressed.

Beck, the former Cambridge United boss, is Histon's first-team coach, working in tandem with manager Steve Fallon.
