Oxfordshire finished their centenary season in style with a hat-trick of wins in their final three friendlies.

Oxon ran out 127-100 winners against Worcestershire at Hewell, taking victory on four rinks, Alan Ley's four leading the way with a 27-10 success.

Oxfordshire then crushed Wiltshire 150-103 at Carterton.

President Malvyn Pitman was among Oxon's three winning rinks at his home club. But it was his successor for next year, John O'Shea, who stole the show, leading his side to a 45-6 win.

Oxon visited Burford Town for the first time for their last game of the season - and marked the occasion with a 129-118 win over Somerset.

With one end to go on all rinks, Oxfordshire led by one shot. But four of the home rinks picked up 12 shots and with the other two just conceding singles, Oxon edged home.

Both counties won on three rinks, with Herbie Payne's rink making Oxon's most telling contribution with a 33-15 victory.

It left Oxon with a record of 19 wins from their 25 friendlies for the season.
