Headington's Howard Watts was crowned Oxfordshire's Champion of Champions at Oxford City & County.
Watts brought the curtain down on the association's competitions for the centenary year with a 21-15 victory over Burford's Steve Whitcomb in the final.
The pair were locked together at 15-15, before Watts ground out six shots over the next five ends to take the title.
In the semi-finals, Watts ran out a convincing 21-13 winner over West Oxford's Richard Claridge, while Whitcomb staved off a fightback from Banbury Borough's Martin Timms to win 21-17.
Watts had opened up with a 21-9 win over Banbury Central's Les Campion, before defeating Oxford City & County's Mike Petersen 21-12 in the last eight.
Whitcomb started his campaign with a 21-9 success against Blackbird Leys' champion Herbie Payne.
He followed this with a resounding 21-5 victory over Woodstock's Ron Collett, before beating Witney Town's Colin Sparrowhawk 21-9 in the quarter-finals.
