KEVIN Lowe dug deep to earn Oxfordshire a 19-19 draw against London in the BDO Inter-Counties Championship.
After defeat in their opening game against Sussex, the side bounced back at Bicester & District Ex-Services Club.
Karen Williams, Trina Blackman, Gina Freshwater and Caroline Caldicott helped the Ladies’ B team to a 4-2 win.
And the Men’s B triumphed 7-5 as Oxon led 11-7 overnight.
Lennon Craddock and Liam Gregor were victorious on their senior debuts, with Darren Hammond, Rob Adnams, Steve Dennett and Mark Baxter also claiming wins.
Oxon went 15-9 in front after the Ladies A matches, with Jaine Telling, Deta Hedman, Sandra Cox and Kim Ledbury earning a 4-2 win.
But London staged a comeback and, despite victories for Ade Larner and Sean Holly, needed only a point from the last game to clinch victory.
But Lowe secured a vital win to earn Oxon a draw.
Their next match is at Devon on November 3-4.
