Lauren Hawtin's hat-trick helped Kidlington open their Under 13 A League campaign with a 4-1 victory at Benson.

Hawtin opened the scoring on six minutes after a fine through pass from Mary Maguire.

The bulk of the play was in the Benson half, but whenever they moved forward Freya Nicholls and Danielle Cripps cut out most of the danger.

On 16 minutes, Kidlington went 2-0 up when Maguire rounded three players and slotted home.

After the break, Hawtin went on to complete her hat-trick with two very good finishes from tight angles.

Kate Pulman looked very sound in goal, but was beaten in the final minute by a shot from Luci Sokolowski.

Tower Hill Vixens got off to a flier with a 13-0 victory at Highworth.

Charley Hamilton led the way with a four-timer, and Hayley Bennett grabbed a hat-trick.

A brace apiece from Carla Garrison and Elle Clarke and strikes from Amber Colwell and Charley Lawrence completed the rout.

Chloe Billins's treble and a goal from Lucy Henshaw helped Carterton to a 4-1 win over Wantage.

Goals from Gemma Portman and Alice Bennion (penalty) couldn't prevent Benson losing 3-2 to Swindon Spitfires in the Under 16 League.

Bennion missed a second spot-kick which would have levelled proceedings.

Khloe Bennett's hat-trick was in vain as Tower Hill Vixens lost 6-3 at Swindon Spitfires in the Under 15 League.

They lost goalkeeper Ellen Hopkins to a wrist injury after only a minute, and were soon 3-0 down.

Khloe Bennett tucked away a penalty after Naomi Evertett was fouled to reduce the arrears, only for Spitfires to regain the initiative.

Although Bennett completed a hat-trick, Spitfires held on.

Kidlington Tigers tamed Summertown Stars 2-0 in the Under 13 B League, thanks to goals from Rachel Ward and Jess Dale.

Ward netted after three minutes, but good defending prevented further strikes until Dale sealed Kidlington's win in the second half.

Carterton Cougars also ran out 4-1 victors against Cholsey Bluebirds in the B League.

Their goals came from Ria Mosson (2), Katy Brooks and Megan Glyn.

St Edmunds saw off Summerton 6-0 in the Under 11 League with Sophie Grimson and Maggie Crawford bagging braces.

Grimson netted the first two inside ten minutes, the opener coming during a goalmouth scramble.

Dingwall scored No 3 after a one-on-one with the goalkeeper, while Crawford's double made it 5-0 at half-time.

St Edmunds increased the lead towards the end of match with a slightly fortuitous goal from Thea Lennon.

A powerful left-footed drive from Olivia Gardner on 11 minutes saw Kidlington defeat Carterton 1-0.

Last season Kidlington won the corresponding fixture 9-0.

Ducklington saw off Cholsey Bluebirds 2-1, thanks to goals from Milly Foxcroft and a curling left-foot shot from Katie Mullis.
