IT IS you last chance to get submit your thoughts on Oxford United in a special commemorative magazine.

The Oxford Mail’s 124-page anniversary publication is available to pre-order now, and will go on sale next month.

It will chart the rise – and fall – of the U’s over 125 years and features the big games, key moments and legendary figures, as well as a host of iconic pictures.

The glossy magazine will be sold at the Kassam Stadium before United’s home game against Shrewsbury on Saturday, October 27 – 125 years to the day since a Friday night in Headington’s Britannia Inn saw the birth of the club.

There is also the opportunity for United supporters to feature, with every page carrying a short statement on what the U’s means to them.

A number of former United players have already given us their thoughts, so if you fancy featuring alongside the likes of Ron Atkinson, James Constable, Michael Appleton, Joey Beauchamp, Ryan Clarke, David Rush, Chris Hackett, Jamie Cook, Jamie Brooks and Paul Wanless among others, this is your final chance, with 9am on Wednesday morning the deadline for submissions.

The magazine will cost £5 (postage and packaging is extra) with £1 from every sale going to United’s academy.
