DONNINGTON won 5-1 at home to Gladiators to keep their Oxford & District League title hopes alive, writes PETE EWINS.
Mellissa Standbridge (7,720), Sue Atkins (3,730) and Jenny Florey (3,590) won the opening three legs as the hosts took control.
Dave Jarman (3,550) pulled a game back after Standbridge lost a winning break of more than 5,000.
But there was no stopping Donnington as Dave Tooke (5,600) and Dennis Atkins (11,570) completed victory.
Leaders Berinsfield won their home game against Masons Arms 4-2, thanks to two wins apiece for Adam Ingram and Phil McFarland, who scored 12,630 over two legs.
Alan Lowe won Masons’ points with a double win over David Naylor.
Bletchingdon hit back from 2-0 and 3-1 behind to draw 3-3 at home to Vikings.
Melvin Johnson (4,700) and Vinnie Brown (3,410) put the visitors 2-0 in front, before Pete Soanes made it 2-1 by scoring 10,170.
Johnson won again to make it 3-1, before victories for Shaun Brookbanks (3,990) and Soanes (4,190) salvaged a 3-3 draw.
