OXFORD United will be hoping to open their account when they visit QPR in FA Women’s National League South tomorrow (2pm).
United began their campaign with a 2-1 defeat by Chichester.
It was a match that U’s forward Georgia Timms thought they should have won.
She said “It was a very challenging game.
“We did everything right – it was just maybe the decisions didn’t go our way.”
The visitors should start favourites as QPR lost 7-0 to Loughborough in their opener.
Timms feels United can make an impact this season after dropping out of the FA Women’s Super League.
“It’s a very young squad this year, but we’ve got a lot of talent,” she said.
“We want to get at least into the top three so we can push back into the WSL.”
