REDD Pratley took six wickets for Witney Swifts as they beat Yarnton & Cowley by 59 runs to move to within touching distance of the OCA League Division 1 title.

Kieran Foggett’s 93 not out helped Swifts to 225-6, before Pratley took 6-57 as Yarnton were dismissed for 166.

Oxenford saw off visitors East & West Hendred by 22 runs.

David Shackleton (91no) and Junaid Aziz (89) saw the hosts to 240-3.

Dave Prosper hit 103 in Hendred’s reply, but they finished short on 218-8.

Wolvercote edged out Marsh Gibbon by two wickets.

Having restricted Marsh to 153-7, Wolvercote reached 157-8, Tom Stewart-Liberty scoring 59 not out.

Faringdon defeated visitors Stonesfield by 42 runs.

Alan Johnson (51) saw Faringdon to 160-8 in their 45 overs.

George Redknap scored 72 in Stonesfield’s reply, but they were still shot out for 118, Rob Owen taking 4-28.

Middleton Cheney kept up their title hopes with a five-wicket win over Hanborough in Division 2.

Youngster Sam Hanson was the star of the show, taking 5-28 in Hanborough’s 150 all out, before scoring 33 not out to lead Cheney to 153-5.

Stanton Harcourt defeated visitors Tetsworth by three wickets.

Tetsworth were bowled out for 237, Nikunj Patel hitting 59, before Arun White scored 91 in Stanton’s reply of 238-7.

In Division 3, Kilkenny stayed clear at the top as they beat Brill by 56 runs.

Having been shot out for just 96, Kilkenny would have feared the worst.

But Chris King (6-20) and Darren Gordon (4-19) combined to skittle Brill for a paltry 40.

Risinghurst maintained their title challenge with a

46-run win over Chadlington.

Martin Kalyan and Manjeet Kumar both hit 56 in Risinghurst’s 256-7, and then Chadlington were held to

210-7, Kalyan taking 3-35.

Bampton beat visitors Dorchester by three wickets.

They restricted Dorchester to 156-7 in their 45 overs, before James Bray hit 45 to steer Bampton to 159-7.

Four wickets apiece for Andrew Horseman (4-18) and Andrew Chalmers (4-31) helped Marcham to a four-wicket win at Kidlington.

The hosts were dismissed for 148, before Marcham reached 149-6 as Thomas Mooring top-scored with 38.

Broughton & North Newington defeated West Ilsley by six wickets.

Ilsley were all out for 184, Alex Dibble hitting 71. Paul Derry then scored 77 not out to steer Broughton to 186-4.

Dan White hammered a brilliant 121 not out to set up Hook Norton’s 198-run win at Shrivenham in Division 4.

Hooky racked up 318-6, Jordan Glazier also scoring 69.

Shrivenham were then bowled out for 120, Max Harris taking 3-22.

Deddington beat hosts Sunningwell by seven wickets after bowling them out for 69, while Radley’s Ali Malik took 4-20 to lead his side to an eight-wicket win over Uffington.

Abdullah Saeed returned outstanding figures of 7-12 as Yarnton & Cowley 2nd routed Division 5 leaders Wolvercote 2nd by nine wickets.

Saeed’s haul sent Wolvercote crashing to 35 all out.

Four wickets each for Dan Possee and Billy Rendell dismissed Kidlington to 132, before Marc Buckingham hit 63 in Freeland’s 133-3.

Tetsworth 2nd beat Kennington by 106 runs.

Clifford Jacobs hit 84 in Tetsworth’s 271-8, before Husnian Raza took 3-11 as Kennington were dismissed for 165.

Witney Swifts 2nd leapfrogged Chalgrove to the top of Division 6 with a six-wicket win.

Andy Purdie claimed 4-21 as Chalgrove were bowled out for 108, and then Ben Horne (39no) and Derek Craig (35no) saw Swifts to 111-4.

Paul Hume’s brilliant century helped Letcombe to a six-wicket win at Chesterton.

Jerry May (4-42) helped to bowl Chesterton out for 201, Pete Whitlock hitting 59.

Hume then struck 125 to steer Letcombe home at 204-4.

Dorchester 2nd had a double header, and won both matches.

On Saturday they beat Middleton Cheney 2nd by 75 runs, before they hammered Risinghurst 2nd by 143 runs on Sunday.

Alex Vaughan was the star of the show for Stanton Harcourt 2nd as they beat hosts Hook Norton 2nd by 84 runs in Division 7 North.

Vaughan hit 102 in Stanton’s 243 all out, and then claimed 5-29 as Hooky were held to 159-9.

Westcott 2nd beat hosts Deddington 2nd by 166 runs.

Having posted 212-7, Pete Smith top-scoring with 52, Westcott dismissed Deddington for only 46 as Dave Hawes claimed 5-11.

Elsewhere, Oxenford 3rd beat Charlbury 3rd by nine wickets, while Stonesfield 2nd saw off Chipping Norton 2nd by four wickets.

A haul of 5-30 for Jason Trinder led Kilkenny 2nd to a nine-wicket win at Marcham 2nd in Division 7 South.

Meanwhile, Jaylan Crockett took 7-10 for Watlington 2nd as they hammered Sunningwell 2nd by nine wickets.
