MARK DUFFY has committed to a third season with Oxford City Stars.
The 30-year-old netminder was a key member of the side’s NIHL2 league and cup double-winning squad.
And Duffy is looking forward to the new season after putting pen to paper.
He said: “I didn’t hesitate in re-signing for the Stars.
“I couldn’t be happier with the atmosphere around the rink for games and at training.
“I’ve never been part of a closer group of lads.
“The club has been on the up for the past few years and I can only see that continuing. I can’t wait to get started.”
Head coach Kenny Redmond said: “Mark came back fresh at the start of last season and battled with Milan (Ronai) for the No 1 spot.
“He has a great attitude and wants to play every game. Mark will be pushing or the starting position again this season.”
