His time of 60.7 seconds against Cleveland was faster than some of the Elite League matches here earlier in the season, and he was only half a second from claiming the £250 offered by former Oxford rider Spencer Timmo.

Timmo has pledged the money to the first rider to beat his best time of 60.2 seconds.
