Apotex Scorpio's Will Bratt produced an inch-perfect performance to win round 16 of the Formula Renault UK Championship at Brands Hatch.
Bratt had finished in second place, but this was upgraded to a victory for the Oxon ace following the post-race exclusion of title rival Duncan Tappy.
Bratt, 19, crossed the line at the end less than four tenths of a second behind the Fortec Motorsport driver.
But Apotex Scorpio then protested against the legality of Tappy's car, and it was ruled that the Fortec machine was not compliant with the regulations in relation to the fixation of the floor, meaning victory, and two vital bonus points for Bratt.
