CLUB chairman Harry Oliver ruled the roost, when Yarnton and District AC fished the third round of their Summer League on House Pool at the Tunnel Farm Barn complex in Warwickshire.

With the sun at last shining and warm temperatures the fish responded well.

Oliver caught carp at six metres on pellet to put 157lb 4oz 0drms on the scales.

Runner-up was venue ace Steve Johnson, drawn on the next peg, who caught carp at 13 and six metres on maggot for a total of 128.1.0.

Nick Paxton filled the other podium place, netting 65.1.0 with sloppy groundbait and maggot.
