ALEX Lynn returns to action this weekend in the seventh round of the FIA Formula E Championship in Rome.
The Grove-based driver will be hoping to build on his seventh place finish in Uruguay last month.
Lynn is excited to take to the streets of Rome in his DS Virgin Racing car.
He said: “The Rome circuit is a new one for everyone, so as a rookie I’m looking forward to being on a track where no one has the advantage of experience.”
The Grove-based Panasonic Jaguar Racing team head into the race lying fourth in the standings.
CHIPPING Norton’s Sean Walkinshaw finished sixth in the first round of the Super GT Championship at Okayama.
Alongside Autobacs Racing Team Aguri teammate Shinichi Takagi, he was content with the start to the campaign.
Walkinshaw said: “Overall, the weekend went all right.
“We obviously would rather have finished on the podium, but we just didn’t quite have the pace in the car.
“However, we managed to gather some valuable points in the championship.”
