Oxfordshire Under 12s ended their season with three wins from their final four games.

With their tour to Shrewsbury School cancelled, two of the three extra games were played at Stonesfield.

Oxon started the week with a nine-wicket defeat by Warwickshire after crawling to 108-9 off 45 overs.

They bounced back three days later - again at Stonesfield - with a seven-wicket win over Wiltshire, who were bowled out for 114.

Curtley Slatter was Oxon's match-winner, taking 3-12 and then hitting a superb 73.

Oxon won again the following day, beating Berkshire, who were held to 121-7, by seven wickets in a rain-affected match at Slough.

Josh Garrett (35) and Freddie Fairhead (36) shared an opening stand of 77 to set Oxon on the way to victory.

Oxon finished off their season with a 40-run victory over Northants back at Stonesfield.

Hamza Hussain (57) and Josh Megson (72no) took Oxon to 217-7, before they bowled out Northants for 177, Megson taking 3-30.

It left Oxon with a record of five wins, two defeats and one abandonment from their eight games.
