Here are Kieren Bushnell's predictions for the Sport Italia Hellenic League Premier Division campaign that starts tomorrow.

ABINGDON TOWN.

Manager Keith Stopps raided his former club, Milton United, for goalkeeper Gareth Walker, while he has also snapped up defenders Christian Perkins (Witney United) and Tony Njogu (Kidlington).

Midfielders Aaron Williams and Ashley Fell have joined from Oxford City and Milton United respectively.

In attack, prolific Danny Wise, who joined from North Leigh, teams up with Carl Bloomfield, who steps up from Oxon Senior League side Garsington.

Last season: 18th. Prediction: 12th.

ARDLEY UNITED.

Ardley were the surprise package when finishing fourth but following the loss of 33-goal striker Chris Hill to Oxford City, boss David Still knows there is hard work ahead.

As well as Hill, Mark Essex and Darren Beckett have also left the club to join Banbury, but Adam Hamp joins from Bicester to lead the line up front. Goalkeeper Steve Edwards is out through injury, while Danny Mason is unavailable.

Last season: 4th. Prediction: 10th.

BICESTER TOWN.

Bicester Town manager Tim Fowler is backing his array of talented youngsters to make big strides this season.

Bicester blooded several youth players during the last campaign, but Fowler is confident the experience they gained will stand them in good stead.

The club had their budget cut early in September last year, which meant a reshuffling of the pack.

Last season: 14th. Prediction: 14th.

CARTERTON.

Carterton were another to have their budget cut during the season, which eventually led to the departure of manager Steve Hale.

Gary Brown, who took over from Hale, is targeting a mid-table finish. He said: "We've put a strong squad together - and it's predominantly local lads.

Midfielder Jamie Butt has returned to the club after a brief spell at Witney last year.

Last season: 12th. Prediction: 15th.

HOOK NORTON.

Strikers are the key as Hooky make their return to the Premier Division.

Secretary Geoff James said: "Richard Northover and Pete Moulder are two proven goalscorers, although Nat Greywoode has left the club due to work."

Hooky have also completed the short-term loan signing of Chris Jackson from Banbury United.

Last season: 3rd, Div 1 West. Prediction: 18th.

KIDLINGTON.

Kidlington are looking to Hellenic League player-of -the-season Nathan Jack to boost their push for a top-half finish.

They snapped up Jack from Thame United following their relegation to Division 1 East.

Manager Paul Lee has also signed Darren Moore from Slough Town, Adrian Jack from Flackwell Heath and Daniel Warne from Hungerford.

Last season: 9th. Prediction: 8th.

MILTON UNITED.

Milton United boss Gary Ackling is looking for some silverware.

"I think we could be in the chasing pack in the league," he said.

Martin Fox, Danny Kirby, Ashley Fell and Gareth Walker have left, but Ackling has raided his former club Wantage to sign Wayne Harbert, Gavin Jones and Tom Rowe.

Adam Bailey has also signed from Banbury United, while defender Sam Rae is on a long-term loan deal from Thatcham Town.

Last season: 7th. Prediction: 4th.

NORTH LEIGH.

North Leigh finished as runners-up to Slimbridge in the Premier Division last year, but when Slimbridge resigned from the Southern League in the summer, the west Oxfordshire side put in an 11th-hour bid to take their place. But it wasn't to be.

Manager Mark Gee has made just one summer signing, snapping up striker Phil Corcoran from Fairford Town.

Last season: 2nd. Prediction: Champions.

WANTAGE TOWN.

They will be without striker Garry Hartley for the first four matches of the new season as he begins a suspension carried over from last year.

He is likely to be replaced by either Will Wright or Jack Daley, who is set to make his first-team debut.

Wantage have brought in new signings Luke Alford, Sam Collier, Matty Horsell and Mark Chatwin.

Last season: 11th. Prediction: 16th.

WITNEY UNITED.

Witney United manager Andy Lyne has shrugged off the tag of being one of the league's title favourites.

He said: "Defender Ben Reynolds has been a real find. Hopefully Lewis Craker and Andy Marriott will renew their partnership which was so effective at Oxford City.

"Gary Wickens, Chris Harper and Lee Keyes have shown that we do have goals in us."

Last season: 6th. Prediction: Runners-up.
