Didcot Town reached the Evo-Stik South League’s Bigfreebet.com Challenge Cup final after a 4-2 penalty shoot-out victory over Larkhall Athletic last night.
After neither team could find a breakthrough in 90 minutes, the game was decided by spot-kicks, where the hosts converted every attempt from 12 yards to go through.
In the West Division, North Leigh’s woes continued with a last-gasp 1-0 home defeat at the hands of AFC Totton.
The play-off chasers scored the only goal a minute from time through Craig Feeney.
Thame United started well in their East Division match at AFC Rushden & Diamonds, but the leaders soon found their stride and ran out 6-0 winners.
