Stadhampton will host a Malian representative XI in a charity fundraising match on Sunday, August 19.
The game will support the Mali Development Group, an Oxford charity raising funds for water conservation projects in the west African country.
Mali will be captained by Mamadou Kone, a director of the Jeunesse et Developpement agency.
The rest of the side, aged 18 to 60, has been selected from members of the Mali Development Group.
Play will start at 2pm and afternoon teas will be served at D'Oyleys Farm on Stadhampton Green.
John Hedge, of the Mali Development Group, said "Everyone is welcome to come along and watch some cricket, learn a little about Mali and enjoy an afternoon tea.
"It will certainly be a unique match as cricket is not played in Mali.
"All funds raised will go towards a project to build a water barrage to help water conservation and increase land available for cultivation and pasturage in eleven villages, including Mafele, located in south west Mali.
"The project will cost over £25,000 and building is planned to start in November of this year.
"Whilst there are flood problems in the UK and China, water is desperately short in most of Africa including Mali."
