OXFORD City tasted defeat for the first time in five pre-season outings when they lost 2-0 at home to Brackley Town at Court Place Farm last night.
The home side went behind after six minutes when Danny Spencer converted a cross, and seven minutes later, City keeper Gareth Tucker dropped a cross, allowing Scott Hadland to make it 2-0.
Didcot Town drew 2-2 at home to Witney United. Ashley Vine and Ian Concannon (pen) netted for Didcot, with Lee Keyes and Gary Wickens (pen) replying.
