OXFORD United have reportedly turned down a second bid for Ryan Ledson from Preston North End.
The U's rejected an approach for the 20-year-old midfielder earlier this month, with a fee in the region of £750,000, with additional clauses taking the deal up to a potential £1million.
And an improved offer from the Sky Bet Championship club has also been snubbed, according to reports in Lancashire.
I'm told PNE have bid twice for Ryan Ledson, not three times which has been reported. Second bid yesterday. No change.

United have not commented on the bids, or claims in the Daily Mail that Ledson, who has made 63 appearances for the club, has handed in a transfer request to force through the move.
The transfer deadline is at 11pm on Wednesday.
