OXFORD City Stars are expecting a bumper crowd and hoping for plenty of goals in their English National League South Division 2 match against Lee Valley Lions at Oxpens tomorrow (6.15).
The leaders, who have already hit three double-figure scores this season, will be disappointed not to do so again against their struggling rivals, who have yet to win a game.
Stars will be wearing a special festive kit as they seek to record their 11th successive victory.
Afterwards, each Stars players’ Christmas top will be auctioned off to raise funds for the Oxford Children’s Hospital, which benefited by £1,000 from a similar scheme last year.
Fans are invited to bring teddies to throw on the ice after the first goal, to raise further funds for the hospital.
