FLOOR Timmer struck twice as Oxford earned a 5-1 home win over Sonning in South League Division 3A.
Timmer pounced on a rebound to open the scoring, but the visitors quickly equalised from a short corner.
Oxford hit back, Timmer netting her second with a reverse stick shot, before Beth Williamson made it 3-1.
Kim Warman and Amy Litchfield completed the scoring.
On Sunday, Oxford booked their place in the fourth round of the England Hockey Tier 2 competition when beating Henley 4-1.
Timmer and Bubble Baddeley fired them into a 2-1 lead at half-time.
Laura Pickervance and Timmer scored after the break to seal victory.
Witney were beaten 6-3 at home by Chiswick in Division 2.
The west Oxfordshire side took the lead through Sunny Wallis, but they were quickly pegged back and trailed 2-1 at the break.
Witney fell 4-1 behind, but Lucy Reading reduced the deficit, only for Chiswick to score a fifth.
Wallis hit her second for the hosts, but there was still time for the visitors to make it 6-3.

MATT Woods hit a late winner as Oxford Hawks battled back from 2-0 down to beat Bromley & Beckenham 4-3 away from home in South League Premier One.
The hosts started well, taking a two-goal lead inside 15 minutes.
Ryan Hammond reduced the deficit for Hawks, before Ted Bennett equalised.
The visitors took the lead after a minute of the second half, thanks to Will Heywood.
But they were soon pegged back following a short corner.
Both sides pushed for a winner and Woods proved the hero for Hawks.
In Regional 2, Witney lost 2-1 at home to Newbury & Thatcham.
Ben Moss put the hosts in front, but they were pegged back.
Newbury secured victory late on from a short corner.
Oxford and Oxford Hawks 2nd drew 3-3 in MBBO Regional 1.
The visitors took the lead through Dan Bradley.
But Matt James, James Rayward and Hector Page put Oxford 3-1 up.
Late strikes from Tom Lawson and James Ward earned Hawks a point.
On Sunday, Oxford made into the last 16 of the England Hockey Tier 2 cup with a 3-2 win over Banbury 2nd.
Dan Bleach, Seb Wurstow and Josh Wiersyzki were on target.
