OXFORD United legend Les Robinson was joined by former teammates to start his testimonial year.
Mike Ford, Paul Wanless and Jamie Cook joined more than 50 fans for a golf day and auction at Magnolia Park.
United coach Derek Fazackerley, former managing director Greig Box Turnbull and ex-Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher were also in attendance.
Robinson, who won the closest to the pin prize at the 11th, said: “It’s been a tremendous day and I am so grateful.
“The response has been incredible, it’s been great to catch up with many old friends and enjoy a round of golf.
“Playing for Oxford United meant the world to me and I’m very thankful for everyone behind the day.”
Ford, said: “Not only was Robbo a top player, he’s also a top bloke and that’s why we’re here.”
The auction lots included one of Robinson’s U’s shirts and another worn by Michael Duberry at Chelsea.
Organisers are also planning a dinner and testimonial match next year.
