PEP Clotet will make a late decision on whether to include Wes Thomas in the Oxford United squad to face Peterborough United.
The striker returned to training this week after a knee problem which has kept him out of the last two games.
But the United manager will err on the side of caution if there is any risk of a problem.
Clotet said: “Wes has not done anything for the last two weeks, so I want to see how it goes because we need to have players (who are) 100 per cent on the pitch.
“We cannot gamble because it’s unfair to them, the team and the fans.”
Fellow striker Jon Obika (groin) is ruled out, but Christian Ribeiro is available if required.
Junior Morias (thigh) and Gwion Edwards (groin) are missing for the hosts, who have Anthony Grant available again after suspension.
