EDDIE Pepperell made his third successive cut on the European Tour despite reaching the halfway stage two-over-par at the Lyoness Open in Austria.
The Frilford Heath member appeared to have missed out when he carded a level par 72 in yesterday’s second round.
It featured a double bogey six at the fifth hole for the second day running.
As one of the early starters in the field, Pepperell, who plays in the US Open next week, was outside the cut line when he finished.
But tough scoring in the afternoon saw him climb the leaderboard to a share of 51st place and qualify for the final two rounds.
