THE Premier Division title in the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford & District League will be decided tonight when leaders Oracle visit second-placed Vikings, writes PETE EWINS.
Oracle took full advantage of Vikings’ free week by winning 5-1 at home to Berinsfield to leapfrog them and go two points clear.
Pauline Withey was Oracle’s top-scorer with 7,390. Donnington Club secured the Division 1 title with a 5-1 victory at Masons B.
Masons A finished runners-up despite losing 4-2 at Headington Conservative Club. Alan Lowe was the losers’ top-scorer with 6,070.
Gladiators A are the Division 2 champions, but the race is on for the runners-up spot between Masons B and Headington Conservative Club.
Tonight’s final league games: Vikings A v Oracle, Berinsfield v Masons B, Donnington v Gladiators A Gladiators B v Headington Conservative Club C, Masons A v Democrats.
