Oxfordshire's Tim Henman (below) bids to end his losing streak when he takes on wildcard Michael Russell in tennis's Nottingham Open today.
Henman, who lives at Aston Tirrold, near Didcot said: "Nottingham hasn't always been part of my preparation, but fingers crossed I can turn things around."
In yesterday's action, top seed and defending champion Richard Gasquet saw off Vince Spadea 6-3, 6-4, while fellow Frenchman Sebastien Grosjean beat fifth seed Dominik Hrbaty 6-3, 6-4.
Great Britian's Alex Bogdanovic lost the first set against Guillermo Garcia-Lopez before rain halted the match.
