ABINGDON gymnasts dominated the County Championships, seeing ten of the 11 titles go to their members.

The host club proved a class above their rivals in the annual event, which provides opportunities for gymnasts from level 5 though to the top echelons, aged eight to 16.

Abingdon were represented by 21 gymnasts, who produced a string of sensational displays.

Tiegan Trafford took the honours in the level 5 event, with four further victories coming in the level 4 competition.

Rosie Greer (age), Scarlett Cairns (pathway), Beth Moulster (junior) and Imogen Nutt (senior) claimed first places.

In level 3, Holly Allen won the senior title, with Lily Titley bagging the junior honours.

Kara Jones secured the level 2 senior trophy, with Kiera-Lily Rumley landing the junior prize.

Their impressive haul was completed by Lili-Mae Snuggs, who won the FIG Espoir title

The competition acts as a qualifier for the regional championships, which are held in September.

All 21 Abingdon gymnasts achieved the required score to book their places.
