NICK Hill smashed a sensational double-century for Kennington, only for rain to ruin the match with his side poised for a massive victory in Division 5 of the OCA League on Saturday.

Hill finished unbeaten on exactly 200 as Kennington rattled up 326-7, then Luke Bowerman (4-12) had Chesterton reeling at 87-7 in their reply when the heavens opened.

Charlbury 2nd consolidated at the top with a 30-run victory over second-placed Minster Lovell 2nd.

They posted 159-9, Tim Jarvis hitting 47. Minster were deep in trouble at 46-6 in reply, before youngster Ashley Hubbert (46) took them to 129 all out, Tim Duester taking 3-9.

Zahid Ali took 7-21 as East Oxford 2nd thrashed Dorchester 2nd by 129 runs.

Having posted 179-8, Piran Yousaf hitting 76, Dorchester were shot out for 50.

Twyford continued their cracking early-season form as they saw off Oxford Caribbean by three wickets to lead the Division 1 table.

Caribbean were bowled out for 158, Dave Prosper hitting 68 and Brian Barrett 39. Twyford were thankful to Tamzver Hussain, who smashed an unbeaten 86.

Great Horwood are level on points with Twyford after beating Charlbury by 75 runs.

Stuart Parker hit 70 in Horwood's 173-8, before Simon Ridgeway took 4-4 as Charlbury were shot out for 98.

Renrick Huggin took 5-41 as Tetsworth returned to winning ways with a six-wicket victory at Horley.

Horley were bowled out for 146, then Rolando Wright (44), Rocky Burke (42) and Hyron Shallow (40) steered Tetsworth to victory.

Mark Whale smashed an unbeaten century in Shrivenham's 60-run victory over Hook Norton.

He hit 101 not out in Shrivenham's 238-8, then Surajit Banerjee took 6-42 in Hooky's 178 all out.

King's Sutton's Phil Green scored 100 not out, but it was in vain as Westbury won by six wickets.

In Division 2, Dave Bowden starred for Letcombe in their four-wicket win at East & West Hendred.

Bowden took 3-38 in Hendred's 220-9, then hit an unbeaten 105 to see Letcombe to victory.

Matt Green claimed 6-26 to help Minster Lovell to a seven-wicket win at Free- land. The home side were bowled out for 95, then Australian Mike Hanson hit 45 not out to steer Minster home.

Leaders Marcham recorded a four-wicket win at Brill.

Andrew Horseman took 4-22 as Brill were restricted to 147-9, Rob Gascoigne hitting 68.

For the second home game in a row, Watlington edged home by one run - this time against Witney Swifts.

Batting first, Watlington were bowled out for 173, Chris Allen hitting 80. Allen was then Watlington's hero with the ball, taking 3-43, including the decisive final wicket as Swifts fell just short.

Tim Thurston's unbeaten century helped Faringdon to an 85-run win over Garsington. Thurston hit 104 not out and Rob Owen 80 in Faringdon's 257-3. Darren Clarke then claimed 4-21 as Garsington were dismissed for 172.

Royston Blake claimed 6-17 as Fringford walloped Wootton & Boars Hill by 134 runs in Division 4.

Earlier, he had hit 49 in Fringford's 181-9, before combining with John Bacon (4-24) to skittle Wootton for 47.

In Division 6, Vaughan Roberts's 6-31 was in vain as Cassington were beaten by Horley 2nd by 78 runs. Horley posted 129-9, but Mark Wright (4-13) and Ed Barson (3-10) bowled Cassington out for 51.

Danny Harding continued his one-man show for Chadlington, scoring 67 not out in his side's seven-wicket win against Freeland 2nd. Steve Thompson hit 73 for Steventon, but still finished on the losing side as Great Horwood won by six wickets.

Faisal Munir claimed 5-24 to help Hanney to a 77-run win over Eynsham 2nd, while John Chrystal took 6-63 in Wolvercote's thrilling three-run win over Stanton Harcourt.

Nick Armstrong claimed 6-19 for King's Sutton 2nd against Risinghurst in Division 7, but it was not enough as his side lost by 42 runs.

Risinghurst posted just 105, but Ashwin Shahir (4-17) and Humayun Iqbal (3-10) helped to dismiss King's Sutton for 63. Twyford 2nd continue to head the table after an eight-wicket victory over Marcham 2nd.

Nathan Perna (3-31) and Adam Bone (3-40) restricted Marcham to 140 all out, then Adam Bone (50no), Jack Deal (36) and David Bone (34) saw Twyford home.

Richard Cross hit 79 in Marsh Gibbon 2nd's 152-run victory over Westbury 2nd.

Connor Taylor's 56 helped Shrivenham 2nd to a nine-wicket win against Wantage.

Minster Lovell 3rd's captain Chris King scored a maiden league ton to help them to a 100-run win over Combe 2nd in Division 8. King hit exactly 100 not out in Minster's 239-8, Mike How chipping in with 53. Tom Moreby then claimed 4-9 in 12 overs and youngster James Barker 3-30 as Combe were bowled out for 139.

Elsewhere, Garsington 2nd saw off Ducklington by six wickets, while East & West Hendred 2nd had a slender 16-run win over Kennington 2nd.

Kevin Sherborne claimed 5-22 to help leadersStonesfield 2nd to a 50-run win over Kilkenny.
