CHARLBURY moved off the bottom of Women’s League Division 2 with a tense win at home to Quatt (Shropshire).
Ellie Norton’s 2-11 off nine overs restricted Quatt to 167-8 from 45 overs.
Norton’s 42 took Charlbury to 88-2, but a flurry of wickets saw them fall to 121-7.
However, a 46-run stand from Georgia Brown and Vicky Strode proved enough.
Banbury lost by five wickets at home to leaders Horton House (Northamptonshire).

Quatt 167-8, Charlbury 168-8 (E Norton 42, M Trickett 5-12).
Banbury 184-8 (E Ong 42), Horton House 188-5 (B Ascott 48no, S Cory 47no).
