Oxford remain the unbeaten leaders in Division 1 of the Women’s Midlands League after an impressive performance at Clifton Village.

After electing to bat, the Nottinghamshire hosts were soon put on the back foot by the Oxford attack and were bowled out for 142 with one over of their 45 remaining.

Genny Porter and Lucy Gladdy took two wickets apiece and then Rachel Potter ripped out the tail with a superb spell of 4-14.

Abbey Hawkins and Kelsey Cox each made 42 to hold the Clifton innings together.

The visitors were shot out for just 42. Harriett Boland started the rout with a spell of 4-6, Chloe Hill chipping in with 2-6.

Charlbury lost to Astwood Bank (Worcestershire).
