Abingdon United striker Anaclet Odhiambo was hero and villain for Abingdon in last night's British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West 1-1 draw against Chesham last night.
His goal came on 24 minutes when he lashed the ball home, but Chesham equalised a minute before the break with a free-kick from Stuart Maynard.
In an end-to-end second half, Nathan Woodley cleared off the Abingdon line, while at the other end, Andy Ballard's header beat the keeper but was cleared.
Odhiambo was out of luck when his stooping header came back off the bar, but Chesham too were unfortunate when they had a goal ruled out for offside.
Odhiambo's red card for retaliation gave Abingdon an anxious last few minutes, but they held on for a point.
Abingdon Utd: Tricker, Moss, Organ, Woodley, Ballard, McCalmon (McSporran 50), Alexis (Ferriera 80), Herbert, Peirson, Odhiambo, Curtin. Subs not used: Davis, Abassi, Brooks.
