Didcot Town paid for missed chances as they settled for a share of the points in a 1-1 draw at Brook House in British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West.
It was Didcot's first away point for eight games, but only an inspired performance from Brook House keeper Mark Philpott prevented the visitors claiming victory.
With the wind behind them in the opening half, Didcot carved open chance after chance, but only had Jamie Brooks's ninth minute tap-in to show for their efforts.
Ian Concannon headed over from six yards and then missed the target by inches following good work by Brooks.
Jack King then headed over from close range and Andy Parrott was also off-target from Grant Goodall's deep cross.
Ryan Kirkland almost levelled with a header that Chris Webb did well to tip the ball over the bar before King volleyed narrowly over at the other end.
The home side equalised just after the break when Kirkland fired home a free-kick from 20 yards.
Concannon was denied by a brilliant save from Philpott, while Kirkland rattled the Didcot bar with a fine volley.
Philpott then kept out both King and then Andy Parrott with two sensational saves as Brook House held on for a share of the points.
Didcot: Webb, Goodall, Jack, Heapy, Bedwell, Parrott, Mills, King, Concannon (Witt 69), Brooks (Kennet 54), Powell (Spence 45).
Attendance: 70.
