JUNIOR Fatialofa is still a phenomenal player according to Chinnor director of rugby Matt Williams after the veteran centre was retained for next season.
The player coach joined the club in May last year having formerly played for Exeter, Bristol and Cornish Pirates.
The 34-year-old New Zealander joins ten players in re-signing for Chinnor and Williams has nothing but praise for Fatialofa.
“Junior has been a humongous aid to the club in its transition from amateur to semi professional,” said Williams, who guided Chinnor to sixth in National League 2 South.
“He has brought an understanding and a wealth of experience.
“As a player he is still phenomenal and it is not a coincidence that we play better when he is in the side.
“Next year he will be taking on even more coaching reigns.
“He is just a great sidekick for me.”
