Oxford ladies picked up their first silverware of the season when they won the National 2nd XI Plate competition at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
A goal from Amy Mobley enabled Oxford to beat Bromley 1-0 in a tense final.
Oxford had fought through four tough rounds to reach the decider.
That included a nail-biting semi-final against 2014 finalists Dulwich and Tulse Hill, which was won on penalty strokes.
Cathy Thom went close to giving Oxford the lead in the first half against Bromley, while a fine save by keeper Phil Swindell denied the Kent side at the other end.

The only goal came just before half-time.
A penalty corner was not properly cleared and Mobley pounced to lift the ball in and send the 50 Oxford fans wild.
After the break, Thom almost doubled their lead, only to be denied by a sprawling save from the Bromley goalkeeper.
Bromley’s best chance came from a Jo Read deflection, but Swindell showed her reactions and pulled off a brilliant save A delighted Oxford captain Ruth Bedford said: “It’s a fantastic end to a hard season.
“We’re really thrilled to get some silverware."
“It’s so inspiring to play on the pitch that a lot of our heroes play on and we really enjoyed it.
