An early goal from Ben Porter condemned Didcot to defeat in the British Gas Business Southern League at Windsor & Eton last night.
And it means their lingering hopes of gaining a play-off place in Division 1 South & West are all but over.
The winner came in the 14th minute when Porter burst into the box and struck a fine low shot past keeper Chris Webb.
Didcot had plenty of chances to level but found home keeper Sam Mazurek in inspired form.
First, he tipped away Jack King's looping volley, and then he made the save of the game with a brilliant block to deny Matty Jack just after the break.
Despite enjoying plenty of possession in the later stages, Didcot were unable to find a way back into the game.
Didcot: Webb, Goodall, Jack, Mills, Bedwell, Parrott, Kennet, King, Concannon (Spence 45), Witt (Brooks 75), Powell (Wickens 70).
