Oxford City's veterans finished second in the vet 50 category at the Masters National Cross Country Championships in Mansfield - their best position since 2004.
On a challenging and undulating 8km course, Brian Green led the City team of three home in second place behind North Belfast.
Green clocked 29mins 19secs to finish eighth, with Richard Grant coming home 11th in 29.43 and John Exley crossing the line 25th in 30.37.
Exley's display brought him home fifth in the vet 55 category.
