Rover Oxford suffered their second successive home defeat to High Wycombe in the South Regional League - this time a 13-goal thriller. which ended 7-6 to the visitors courtesy of a last-gasp decider.
Rover cruised into a three-goal lead, thanks to Rich Beer's 25th league goal of the campaign, Dan Smyth and Gwyn Williams.
A lapse in concentration allowed Wycombe back in with two strikes and they equalised just after half-time.
Panic set into the Rover ranks and the next 15 minutes saw Wycombe increasing their lead.
In an eventful half, Smyth completed his hat-trick and Daniel Pilbeam also scored for Rover to make it 6-6.
The deciding goal from Wycombe inflicted a defeat that seriously harms Rover's promotion ambitions.
