Oxford City reached the Oxfordshire Senior Cup semi-finals after edging past Witney with a goal four minutes from the end of extra time.

Substitute Chris Harper ended Witney's resistance late on at Court Place Farm after City had rallied from a goal behind.

Lee Keyes went close for Witney early on, while Mark McMeeking cleared a shot from City's Harry Burnley off the line.

On 35 minutes, Witney took a deserved lead when Mark Simms broke clear and drove into the far corner of the net.

City improved after the break and equalised on 72 minutes when Harper and fellow sub Lee Rendall combined to set up a volleyed goal for Alex Stewart.

With penalties beckoning, Harper scored from close range.
