City of Oxford and Wallingford took the honours in the Oxon round of the Under 11 Yazoo National Mini Hockey Championships held at Cokethorpe School on Sunday when no fewer than 20 teams took part.
In the girls section, Wallingford triumphed over City of Oxford 2-0 in the final.
The same clubs got through to the boys section final and, after finishing goalless, City won 2-1 after a penalty shoot-out.
All four finalists go through to represent the county in the regional finals on April 22.
RESULTS Girls semi-finals: Wallingford 2, Chandlings Manor 0; City 3, Oxford Hawks 0. Final: Wallingford 2, City 0. Boys semi-finals: Wallingford 2, Rover Oxford 0; City of Oxford 1, Oxford Hawks 0. Final: Wallingford 0, City 0 (City win 2-1 on pens).
