Eynsham had double cause for celebration as the A and B teams lifted the Bint and New Team Cups with victories against Abingdon Con A and Littlemore RBL A respectively.

But the A team did it the hard way fighting back before triumphing 3-2 against the Abingdon outfit.

Dan Sheridan saw off Lawrence Parsons and Kev Broughton accounted for Bob Thiele as Abingdon led 2-0. However, Richard Partlett got the better of John Dawson as Eynsham eased to victory, scoring a bonus point on the way.

The B team had a slightly easier passage in their New Team Cup win as they beat Littlemore 4-1.

Littlemore nosed ahead courtesy of Brian Smith's win against Allan Blackwell, before the latter levelled.

Dan Brooks then pipped Steve Fitzgerald by three points in the third, but Fitzgerald fought back to tie the match and leave the aggregate just three points in Eynsham's favour.

But Tim Bowles held his nerve as he defeated Richard Berry as Eynsham cruised in.

In the Premier Division, New Club A battled back to pull off a shock 4-2 win against Riley A.

Gary Cowlin knocked in a 37 break as he strolled to a 2-0 win against Ian Gee.

That spurred New Club into action, Alan Mander made a break of 25 against Tony Hicks.

Justin Shepherd made breaks of 26 in each of the last two frames to secure a win against Ron Reddy In Division 1, Oracle A got back on track with 4-2 win at Woodstock A. The hosts took the lead through Stuart Reeve, although Matty Bramell went down fighting all the way.

Dean Campbell made a break of 50 during Riley B's 4-2 win against County A who only had 2 players and were forced to concede the last two frames.

Simon Barker turned in a fine display to secure a draw for Witney B against Thame B in Division 2.

Earlier, Tom Fletcher surprised Terry Cook 2-0 while Stephen Hedges and Dave White took a frame from each other to leave Thame 3-1 up.

Barker then faced Nigel Bossom in the final two frames. After an indifferent start in the fifth, Barker hit a break of 22 to win 51-25.

Bossom rattled in breaks of 14 and 28 to take a 42-0 lead in the final frame, but breaks of 24, 17 and 18 in quick succession saw Barker take command, with Bossom failing to score another point.

Abingdon Con B are the new leaders of Division 3 following a 5-1 win against Cowley Con A.

Cowley's Keith Pearce shared frames with Pete Baskerville, before Stuart Fenwick got the better of Malcolm Grievson.
