Banbury United set up an Oxfordshire Senior Cup semi-final clash with Chinnor after easing to a 3-0 victory against North Leigh last night.
Victory put an end to a string of bad results for the Southern League Premier Division side whose goals all came from set pieces.
Darren Pond put Banbury ahead on 34 minutes and a Howard Forinton strike after 42 minutes gave them a comfortable half-time lead.
North Leigh were disappointing on a pitch that held up well in the rain and offered very little up front in their first game for two weeks.
Banbury were solid, but unspectacular and sealed a deserved victory through George Redknapp in the 90th minute.
The holders will now be overwhelming favourites to reach the final again when they take on Hellenic League Division 1 East side Chinnor.

Oxford City's quarter-final against Witney United at Court Place Farm last night was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
