Abingdon striker Will Trigg scored his 150th league goal for the club as his side recorded a 3-0 victory over local rivals Wallingford at The Hithercroft to keep their hold on third place in Division 1.
Abingdon took the lead midway through the half with their first penalty corner, Josh Tomlinson flicking the ball high into the net after Trigg's lofted strike had been blocked by the goal- keeper.
Jonny Taylor made it 2-0, slotting home Trigg's right-wing cross from close range.
Trigg made the three points safe with a low flick from the edge of the circle.
Witney returned to winning ways with a 5-3 victory at home to Bicester.
Having seen the top two promotion places slip from their grasp since Christmas, Witney had to win this fixture to maintain their aim of finishing third.
Tim Hardy put them ahead and Zac Todd scored with an unstoppable reverse-stick shot.
Bicester hit back, but Frankie Clavaud's strike gave Witney a 3-2 interval lead.
In the second half, Hardy got a second and James Pigott added No 5.
