HORATIO Hirst’s double sealed Oxfordshire Under 16s’ 4-1 win away to Hampshire in the South West Counties Cup.
Oxon fell behind, but Canice Carroll equalised before halftime.
The visitors took charge after the break with Sam Beaumont putting them ahead, before Hirst’s brace put the result beyond doubt.
Oxon now play Norfolk in the ESFA Under 16 Inter County Trophy semi-final at Oxford City’s 3G pitch on Saturday, February 28 (3pm).

Vale of White Horse Under 13s recorded their first win in the Meeson Trophy with a 4-2 victory over Worcester at Milton United.
Owen Armstrong fired Vale into a sixth-minute lead, only for Worcester to equalise.
Jonathan Varley restored Vale’s lead early in the second half and he struck again a minute later to make it 3-1.
Armstrong scored Vale’s fourth goal with two minutes of the game left and 60 seconds later, Worcester pulled one back.
