He has quit following cuts to the budget for players' expenses.
The final straw came at the weekend when Tim Jenkins said he wanted to call it a day due to work issues, and then Steve Avenall asked for a move back to Shrivenham.
Reserve manager Gary Brown steps up to be first-team boss for the rest of the season.
