Blackbird opened up a four-point gap between themselves and the Critchleys UTV League Premier Division’s bottom two with a 10-4 win against AFC Valley.
The visitors were 6-0 up at half-time, thanks to a brace apiece from 17-year-old debutant Yassime Lamzimi, and Triston Lawrence, plus strikes from Julian McCalmon and Tony Webster.
After the break, the hosts hit back through Simon Collett and Sergi Potrimba, penalties from Nathan Brown and goal keeper Matty Purbrick, Ben Steptoe missing their third spot-kick.
But Lawrence responded for Blackbird, adding a brace, with Craig Bloomfield and Carl Bloomfield sealing victory.

Andy Potter’s goal earned Division 1 leaders North Oxford Conservative Club a 1-0 victory at The Village Inn, despite playing with nine men.
It maintained their three-point advantage over Woodstock Wanderers who defeated Northway 4-2 at home, with goals from Steve Foreman (2), Charles Rose (2), Jimmy Townsend and Wayne Sinclair replied.
BSSC Abba moved to second in Division 2 with a 4-1 win at Northway Res.
Shane Probbitts (2), Michael Trafford and Mark Goode also scored for the visitors, who made it seven wins in a row. Lewis Cowell hit back for the home side.
