Oxford's Nichola Simpson won bronze at the Nottingham Building Society GB National Series finals.
Simpson, a member of Oxford Archers, took third place in the women’s compound event by edging out Andrea Gales 141-139 at Wollaton Park in Nottingham.
Naomi Jones took gold with a 143-135 victory over defending champion and double Paralympic gold medallist Danielle Brown.
Reflecting on her medal, Simpson said: “It feels fantastic. I didn’t expect it at all.
“I’ve been training with my coach and other archers at my club, the Oxford Archers, so that has paid off today.
“The National Series finals are a great competition, especially for those who are new to the sport."
