OXFORD twins Alex and Beth Simmons will face Chinese Taipei in the United States today for a place in the final.

The 27-year-old sisters were part of Great Britain’s squad which won the event, the Fed Cup of deaf tennis, in 2003.

Alongside Surrey’s Bethany Brookes, they lost to the hosts, but beat Russia and Germany to finish second in their pool in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
